Standard Mental Health First Aid training is a 12-hour course delivered in a 2-day training package.
In this course you will learn about the signs and symptoms of common and disabling mental health problems in adults, how to provide initial help, where and how to get professional help and what sort of help has been shown by research to be effective.
Our experienced instructors will teach you the skills to assist any adult who may be experiencing a mental health problem or crisis. Using a practical, evidence-based action plan you will be able to offer assistance until the crisis resolves or appropriate professional help is received.
This accredited MHFA course is for anyone who would like to learn the skills of mental health first aid or become a mental health first aider in the workplace.
